Every successful event needs someone to keep things moving, make people feel welcome and know when to stick to the script – and when not to.

Whether it's an awards evening, charity fundraiser, conference, community event or celebration, I'll help bring the programme together and keep the audience engaged from start to finish.

After more than 25 years working in communications and journalism, I'm used to speaking to people, asking questions, thinking on my feet and finding the right words for the occasion. Just as importantly, I know that the event isn't about me.

My role is to make sure speakers are introduced professionally, award winners get their moment in the spotlight and guests feel part of the occasion. I'll keep things running smoothly, handle the unexpected if it happens and help create an event that people remember for all the right reasons.

After all, nobody remembers a running order. They remember how an event made them feel.

Prices start from £200

Service includes telephone call to understand requirements, in-person meeting to draft the event speech(es)/presentations, any required changes, final speech(es)/presentations drafted, rehearsal (if required) and play my part at your event. Also available to discuss other requests.
